Bellator 64 Tonight: Askren Vs. Lima Headline Full Card

By Matt Leyshock - Posted on 06 April 2012

Ben "The blanket" "Funky" Askren (9-0) will defend his title against hard hitting prospect Douglas Lima (21-4) tonight in the main event of Bellator 64. Admittedly I am not a huge Askren fan, but that alone means that I watch more of his bouts than alot of others in hopes of witnessing an upset.  Lima has a cannon for a right hand and a vaulted jiu jitsu game which just may be the right combination to take the belt away.

Usually I'm upset that with my TUF coverage that I don't really get the chance to watch Bellator. Tonight, though, I could care less. I fucking hate watching Ben Askren fight.

I kinda feel the same way. I watched his scrap with Jay hieron, which is arguably his most entertaining, and couldnt help but think.. wow this is bad. Maybe lima puts him down and out though? thats worth the cost of admission in my book
