Countdown To UFC 149: Hector Lombard Vs. Tim Boetsch

UFC 149 Countdown

Honesty time; I am a huge Tim Boetsch fan. 

After this countdown, I know I won't be alone. His comeback win over Yushin Okami is something that dreams are made of and his thrashing of David Heath reminds me that this is a kill or be killed man's game where brute strength can still trump-all at times. 

Both Boetsch and Lombard come off as very likeable athletes who are consummate professionals and are very aware of each other. 

Side Note: It's interesting that they mention Bellator but did not show any video of Bellator bouts. Years ago the UFC would under no circumstances acknowledge any other outlet or organization point blank period. 

If Boetsch and Lombard fought in Bellator I would almost guarantee a Lombard victory but because they are fighting in the UFC I think that somehow levels the playing field a bit in Boetsch favor.
