Never seen Salka fight, admittedly. But I did get a chance to chat with a dude at the Cheswick show who swore to me that Salka beat's Monty Clay every day of the week. Anyone that can kick some knowledge and corroborate or debunk this strong, strong allegation??
Three former world champions will also be in attendance including, Paul Spadafora, Michael Moorer, as well as James "buster"Douglas.
Those admission prices seem really pricey.
The general admission's are only 25 dolllars, and we are now selling gold seat's for 50. We have a pretty awesome fight card including harvison who is 14 and 0 as well as karpency who is 17 and 1. With Salka being the main event of course. D.J. Boogie is spinning the records, we have beer and alcohol for sale. Should be a great show. Next show will be downtown Pittsburgh.
The general admission prices aren't what I was talking about. I've been to enough events to know that is pretty standard for such a thing. I was talking about the $100 ringside seats. I get that it's a pretty stacked pro card and all, but people in the Burgh are notoriously cheap.
I mean no disrespect. I just want your show to be a financial success so continued shows can happen, ya know?
25 for Gen.Ad is standard fair in my book. Karpency is one of the best around and Salka is on his way.
One1 Did I meet you few weeks back at Station Square with Spadafora?
I feel you 100 mite of been a little high for this particular fight and venue, I appreciate the feedback, although we did sell out of ringside seats. I was not with paul in station square, but he is a childhood friend of mine.
Cool wasnt sure.
Because this fight is on a Friday, I wouldn't be able to get off work, would I be able to send one of my guys to cover the event for the site so we can get things like results videos etc?
That would be great! i will leave tickets at the door for u guys under Standthemup.com
Nice and thanks for getting involved. Looks like smith is gonna cover it for us. Anyone free friday night should head down to Elizabeth and support these guys.
Like I have said many times before, If you havent had the chance to witness a professional boxing match before, it is definitely an awesome experience.
Support your local pugilists.
Definitely man, Pro boxing fights are an undeniable thing of beauty. I'm stoked.
Thanks in advance for the lookout!
