Wes Hanson To Fight For Title In Oklahoma June 1st:

You may have noticed that the NAAFS Fight Nite In The Flats card was missing one of it's bigger names on the amatuer bill.  "Wild Wild" Wes Hanson (6-0) was originally slated to take on up and coming Pittsburgh fighter Dom Mazzotta (4-1) but has decided to take a title fight within the XFL organization on June 1st instead.  His opponent is James Warren (6-1-1)  and will be for the featherweight XFL Title at the Hard Rock Hotel in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Hanson stormed into the NAAFS stopping both Thomas Ulyenbroek and Christopher Dunn with strikes in the first round.  It will be interesting to see if Hanson makes his return to the NAAFS tournament or if he pursues a few amateur fights outside of the organization before making the leap to professional fighting.
